Stroganoff A La Patrice
Ground Hamburger or Round Steak
1 Onion
1 Tbl Oil
Fresh Mushrooms
Lg. Can or 3 Small Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 Tbls Sherry Wine
½ Can of Water (of Lg. Can from Cream of Mushroom Soup)
1 bay leaf
8 oz Sour Cream
If using Steak season both sides of meat, flour both sides and pound it in. Cut it and sauté it with onion, oil and mushrooms. With ground beef, just sauté it with onion, oil and mushrooms. Add Cream of Mushroom Soup, Sherry, Water and Bay Leaf. Let simmer 30 minutes to an hour. 5 Minutes before serving add Sour Cream.
Serve over Noodles or Rice.
